Spanish Moss ( Tillandsia usneoides) Indoor AirPlants

The bromeliad family’s Spanish moss is an ‘air plant.’ It’s known for its silver weeping leaves that dangle from old or dead trees. It’s frequently seen around rivers, lakes, and ponds. The plant has no roots and relies on the gray scales on its stems and leaves for moisture and nutrients. It will require trimming on a regular basis to keep it from getting too heavy and breaking branches or shading the tree too much. Indoors, with regular misty and humid circumstances, it may be cultivated. Mulch, packaging material, insulation, and arts & crafts can all be done with it.
